Ford, South Korean companies unveil CAM joint venture in Québec
Ford is partnering with South Korean companies SK On and EcoProBM to build cathode active material (CAM) production capacity in Bécancour, Québec, Kallanish reports.
The US carmaker announced on Thursday the joint venture will invest CAD 1.2 billion ($886 million) to build a facility capable of producing up to 45,000 tonnes/year of CAM. First production is slated for H1 2026.
