First Quantum to sell 120,000 tonnes of Cobre Panama copper
First Quantum Minerals intends to sell more than 120,000 tonnes of copper concentrate from its shuttered mining operation in Panama, Kallanish reports.
The Canadian miner made the announcement on Monday through its local subsidiary, Minera Panama. The copper is currently being stored near the Punta Rincon port, which sits approximately 25 kilometres north of the Cobre Panama mining operation.
