Fertiglobe ships its first green ammonia from Egypt

Abu Dhabi-based Fertiglobe has completed the first shipment of renewable ammonia produced using renewable hydrogen at its Egyptian facility to India. The ammonia will be used for producing “near-zero-emission” synthetic soda ash, a key ingredient in laundry powder, the company said earlier this week. It was shipped to Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilisers Limited (TFL), who will produce the soda ash for consumer goods major Unilever’s India …
