Europe’s biggest green H2 project welcomes Equinor, RWE
Europe’s largest green hydrogen project, NortH2, is welcoming Norway’s oil major Equinor and Germany’s utility RWE as its two new partners, Kallanish learns from the companies.
The Dutch project was launched in February 2020 by Gasunie, Shell and Groningen Seaports. It’s planned to produce 0.4 million tonnes of green hydrogen in 2027 and eventually reach 1m t production by 2040.
