EU approves €900m French scheme for green H2, clean fuels
The European Commission has approved a €900 million ($972m) French state aid scheme to stimulate investment in renewable hydrogen and other clean energy sources, Kallanish notes.
The government will provide the funds as direct grants. Selected projects must become operative within 36 months from the granting of the aid. The measure will be open to new ventures that are “significantly accelerated or scaled up,” the EC says.
