Equinor, Engie form blue hydrogen partnership
Norway’s Equinor and France’s Engie are mulling the joint development of blue hydrogen in Belgium, Netherlands and France, Kallanish reports.
The firms said on Thursday they’ve joined forces to produce and market hydrogen from natural gas supported by carbon capture technology. CO2 captured would be permanently stored offshore and help industrial customers to significantly reduce CO2 emissions before 2030, they added.
