Electrified vehicles accounted for 3.8% of Europe’s car fleet in 2021

The European Union saw an increase of 1.2% in its passenger car fleet in 2021 to nearly 250 million units, of which 3.8% were electrified vehicles, Kallanish reports. According to the 2023 edition of ACEA’s Vehicles in use report, EU cars are now on average 12 years old.
