Electric freight trucks will be cheaper than diesel counterparts by 2035: T&E

European campaign group Transport & Environment (T&E) forecasts that all new electric freight trucks will be cheaper to own and run than diesel trucks by 2035, Kallanish reports. Citing a new study by Dutch research organisation TNO, which it commissioned alongside Agora Verkehrswende, T&E also says there will be no compromise on distance travelled and weight carried.
