DSV to start Volta Zero trial programme in UK
Electric truck start-up Volta Trucks said Wednesday global transport and logistics company DSV is evaluating its all-electric Volta Zero in the UK, Kallanish reports.
The Stockholm-headquartered company says its 16-tonne BEV will be used in DSV’s southern hub in Prufleet, Essex, to complete last-mile groupage deliveries in London and the Southeast. DVS will charge the truck overnight at its main depot and run the vehicle on routes in a 13-hour window.
