DRB Hicom inks automotive hub agreement with Geely
Malaysian conglomerate DRB Hicom has inked an agreement with Chinese automaker Zhejiang Geely for the development of an automotive hub in Malaysia.
The news came after Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said in July that Geely would invest $10 billion to turn Tanjung Malim in Western Malaysia into the region’s largest auto city, Kallanish notes.
