Daimler Truck, Volvo Group set goal to mass-produce fuel cells in 2025
Daimler Truck and Volvo Group announced on Thursday plans to start mass production of fuel-cell systems in 2025 through their newly established joint venture.
The JV cellcentric aims to become one of the largest producers of fuel-cell systems in Europe, targeting both long-haul trucking and other applications. Details on capacity, investment and location will be revealed in 2022, Kallanish learns from the companies.
