COPPER: US EPA announces timetable for Bristol Bay mine review
The US Environmental Protection Agency says it will determine the next step by 31 May, 2022, in the Bristol Bay Clean Water Act review that could ending up blocking the proposed Pebble copper-molybdenum-gold-silver-rhenium mine in southwest Alaska by banning mining to protect Bristol Bay, Kallanish reports.
