COPPER: Peruvian production falls in February
Peruvian copper output decreased month-on-month in February, Kallanish reports. However, production volumes were up on-year, although insignificantly.
The latest report by Peru’s mines and energy ministry Minem shows national copper production reached 172,334 tonnes in the month, which represents a 13.5% decrease month-on-month. This volume, however, was just 0.4% more compared to February 2021.
