COPPER: Peru estimates growth in 2021 copper production
Peruvian copper production is set to improve by almost 16% year-on-year in 2021, the country’s minister of energy and mines, Jaime Gálvezm, said at an industry conference monitored by Kallanish earlier this week.
The growth will be supported mainly by the contribution of some mine extensions and the operational start of Marcobre’s Mina Justa in April.
