COPPER: NorthWest Copper to acquire 100% stake in Kwanika project in BC
Canada-based NorthWest Copper is consolidating its interest in the Kwanika copper-gold project in British Columbia, Kallanish reports.
The company has signed an agreement with Posco International Corp to purchase all of Posco’s 31% remaining interest in Kwanika Copper Corp (KCC) for CAD $11 million ($8.6m) payable in NorthWest shares. The Canadian firm owns 69% of the KCC joint venture.
