COPPER, NICKEL: Anglo American sees rising prices in Q3
Mining giant Anglo American reported an annual increase of 59% for its copper prices and 41% for its nickel prices during the third quarter of the year.
The average realised price for copper production, not including third party volumes, was $4.34/pound compared to $2.73/lb in Q3 2020. Nickel volumes were sold at an average of $7.48/lb, up from $5.31/lb, Kallanish learns from the company’s quarterly report.
