COPPER: Nevada Copper reports increased monthly production, new top executive
Canada-based Nevada Copper reports higher copper production in the month of September as its delayed Pumpkin Hollow underground mine in western Nevada continues to ramp up production, Kallanish reports.
The monthly production increased by 265%, due largely to higher stope production in September, the company says. About 30,386 short tons of ore were processed, yielding 682 st of concentrate at an average grade of 22% copper. That resulted in about 150 st of copper…
