COPPER: Federal judge rejects injunction against Arizona land swap
A proposed copper-molybdenum mine in southern Arizona has won the latest round in federal court when a judge refused to block an announced land transfer, allowing the project to proceed, Kallanish reports.
The decision came last Friday in US District Court in Phoenix, Arizona, where Judge Steven Logan rejected the arguments of the Apache Stronghold group and supported the underground mine advanced by Resolution Copper Mining.
