COPPER: EPA decision would kill Alaska's Pebble Mine, protect salmon fishery
The US Environmental Protection Agency says it plans to protect Bristol Bay and its $2.2 billion sockeye salmon fishery and to kill a long-stalled copper mine in southwest Alaska, Kallanish reports.
