COPPER: Codelco extends Radomiro Tomic mine life
Chilean copper mining giant Codelco has received a green light for the extension of the useful life of its Radomiro Tomic mine, Kallanish learns from the company.
The Antofagasta regional environmental commission favourably rated the environmental impact statement of the miner and prolonged the useful life of the hydrometallurgy line and sulphide exploitation phase I of the site until 2030.
