COPPER: Cochilco updates short-term price outlook
Chile’s state copper commission, Cochilco, upgraded its forecasts on copper prices in 2021 and 2022 on the back of expected supply deficit, Kallanish reports.
The estimate is that copper prices will average $4.30 per pounds this year, while in 2022 levels should go down to an average of $3.95/lb.
