COPPER: Chile`s production remains weak in September
Chilean copper output decreased on-month in September. Production volume was also down year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
The latest report by the Chilean copper commission Cochilco shows that copper output reached 447,400 tonnes in September. This is 3.3% less than in the previous month. Production was also down 6.7% compared to the same period in 2020. September`s volume was the second-lowest so far this year after the 426,500 t produced in January.
