COPPER: Chilean production decelerates in April
Chilean copper output decreased on-month in April. Volume was also weak on-year as well as lower on a cumulative basis during the first four months, Kallanish notes.
The latest data by the Chilean national copper commission’s Cochilco shows that copper output reached 461,200 tonnes in April. This is 5.6% lower than March and down 2.1% year-on-year.
