COPPER: Chilean March production improves on-month
Chile saw its copper output rise month-on-month in March. Volume remains weak on-year and was also lower on cumulative basis during the first three months, Kallanish notes.
The latest data by the Chilean national copper commission’s Cochilco shows that copper output reached 488,700 tonnes in March. This is 14.6% higher than February but 1.2% lower than March 2020.
