COPPER: Biden, EPA to oppose planned Pebble mine project in Alaska
The Biden administration intends to use its authority under the federal Clean Water Act to block the proposed Pebble copper-molybdenum-gold-silver-rhenium mine in southwest Alaska, in a major blow to Canada-based Northern Dynasty and its subsidiary, Pebble Limited Partnership.
