COPPER: Antofagasta posts Q1 lower output, outlook positive
Chilean mining group Antofagasta Minerals (AM) saw its copper production fall both on-quarter and on-year in Q1 2021, Kallanish learns from the company’s latest operational report.
The group, however, is optimistic that its performance will continue improving during the rest of the year. Production in the second half of the year is expected to be slightly stronger.
