Codelco to start lithium exploration project in Chile
Chilean copper mining giant Codelco has received the green lights to commence a lithium exploration project in Chile’s Maricunga salt flat, Kallanish reports.
The campaign will begin in April 2021 and could take up to 10 months. After that, it will analyse the environmental and economic feasibility of pursing the next stages of the project.
