China's SAIC sees 73% jump in new energy vehicles in 2020
China’s top auto producer SAIC Motor witnessed a 73.4% surge in the sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in 2020, Kallanish reports.
Total sales of NEVs reached 320,000 in 2020. In September, SAIC unveiled its MAXUS EUNIQ 7 hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, which the company claims has among the best-in-class power, power density, and low-temperature start-up metrics.
