China’s NEVs production, sales hit another record in February
China has broken a new monthly record for production and sales of its new energy vehicles (NEVs) during February, the country’s automotive manufacturers association CAAM said on Thursday.
Production of NEVs rose 720% year-on-year to 124,000 units, but was down 36.2% from January due to lower activities related to the lunar new year holiday. Of that, some 107,000 units were pure battery electric vehicles (BEVs), again a surge of 720% y-o-y.
