China's EV battery installation rises 40.9% in April
China loaded 35.4 gigawatt-hours of electric vehicle batteries in April, up 40.9% on-year and 1.4% on-month, Kallanish learns from China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance.
The latest data shows that ternary lithium batteries accounted for 9.9 GWh of the total volume, rising 24.1% on-year and 12.2% on-month. These traditional batteries accounted for 28% of all power batteries installed in China last month.
