China EV sales set to reach 1.9 million units in 2021
China’s EV sales are forecast to grow 51% year-on-year to reach 1.9 million this year, with a 9% share of all cars sold in the country, a report published by data analysis company Canalys forecasts.
In the report Electric vehicle outlook: 2021 and beyond, Canalys says that “there is already an excellent network of standardised public EV chargers in China, good government support and now a return to strong consumer demand.”
