Chile’s SQM targets $1.1 billion capital raise

Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM) is seeking to raise up to $1.1 billion in capital through the issuance of up to 22.4 million Series B shares of common stock, Kallanish reports. The company says the capital increase will need to be approved by shareholders in an extraordinary meeting on 22 January.
