BYD, SIXT enter EV deal targeting 100,000 units
Chinese carmaker BYD said Tuesday it will start delivering its pure-electric vehicles to rental car company SIXT in Europe this year, Kallanish reports.
The companies signed a “major e-mobility partnership” under which SIXT will purchase “several thousands” of BYD BEVs, starting with the BYD ATTO 3 SUV. This preliminary order is planned to be supplemented by SIXT with an additional 100,000 BYD EVs over the next six years, BYD says.
