BYD launches two EV models in Brazil
Chinese leading automaker BYD will start selling two electric vehicle models in Brazil this month – the plug-in hybrid Song and the pure electric model Yuan, Kallanish reports.
The vehicles will be imported until domestic production is established in new factories in Bahia state, northeastern Brazil. The carmaker is likely to have three factories in Bahia, with two of them being operational in 2024 and the rest in 2025.
