Britishvolt refutes public funding claims as reports criticise UK support to EV industry
UK battery start-up Britishvolt has refuted “wrong” claims that it has received public money via the Automotive Transformation Fund grant in a weekend report by The Sunday Telegraph.
“We have already poured lots of public money into the ill-fated Britishvolt, so far with very signs of success,” says Matthey Lynn said in a piece on Sunday arguing the state should stay out of making EVs.
