Brazilian ride-hailing app 99 to start testing BYD BEVs
Brazilian ride-hailing app 99 will start testing a battery an electric vehicle from Chinese manufacturer BYD on its platform this week, Kallanish reports.
Testing of the D1 EV model will take place in São Paulo, Brazil’s financial capital, as a blueprint for other regions. Equipped with a 53-kilowatt-hour blade battery, the taxi-focused BEV offers a range of between 371 kilometres (WLTP) and 418 km (NEDC).
