bp unveils plans for its first green hydrogen project in the UK
British energy company bp confirmed on Monday plans for a new hydrogen project in the northeast of England, its first green hydrogen development in the UK, Kallanish reports.
The HyGreen Teesside project could deliver up to 500 megawatts electrical input (MWe) of green hydrogen production by 2030. The multi-stage development is planned to start production by 2025, at a capacity of around 60 MWe.
