BMW, Toyota cooperation on FCEVs may be prolonged
German carmaker BMW has reportedly suggested its hydrogen fuel cell cooperation with Toyota may be long-term, with potentially new FCEV models already in the drawing board.
“We have various projects we work on with Toyota,” BMW’s sales chief Pieter Nota is quoted as saying by Japanese newspaper Nikkei. “We see that hydrogen fuel cell technology is particularly relevant for larger SUVs.”
