BMW pre-pays $15m towards lithium hydroxide offtake
German carmaker BMW Group has transferred $15 million to European Lithium as pre-payment under its lithium hydroxide offtake agreement, Kallanish learns.
According to European Lithium, funds were paid to ECM Lithium, a wholly owned subsidiary of Critical Metals Corp – the new owner of the Wolfsberg lithium project in Austria. The payment is to be offset against lithium hydroxide delivered to BMW.
