BHP-Midland alliance begin copper, nickel exploration in Canada
Canadian miner Midland Exploration has begun an exploration programme for nickel and copper in Nunavik, Quebec, as part of a strategic alliance with mining giant BHP Group.
The pair signed the agreement in August 2020 through their respective subsidiaries, Midland Base Metals and Rio Algom, Kallanish understands.
