BHP, Ivanhoe Electric partner for copper exploration in the US
Australian mining giant BHP and mineral exploration technologies provider Ivanhoe Electric have signed an alliance agreement to explore copper and other critical minerals in the US.
The pair will identify projects that may become 50-50 owned joint ventures, located in six “areas of interest.” These cover around 3,655 square kilometres across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.
