BEV sales record timid growth in UK’s busiest sales month
The UK’s new car market saw a timid growth in all-electric vehicle (BEV) registrations in March due to poor private demand, Kallanish reports.
Data released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) on Thursday show BEV sales rose 3.8% on-year to 48,388 units. Despite the record registration volume, BEV market share fell by one percentage point to 15.2%.
