BEV sales more than double in Europe during Q2
The market share of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) more than doubled in Europe during the second quarter of the year, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA).
Data released on Friday showed that BEVs took 7.5% of all sales in the period, compared to a share of 3.5% in Q2 2020. New registrations of the all-electric cars soared 231.6% y-o-y to 210,298 units during April-June.
