Avass Group eyes EV, battery plant in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is supporting plans by Melbourne-based electric bus manufacturer Avass Group to build electric vehicles and battery production capacity in the country, Kallanish reports.
The parties signed a memorandum of understanding on 19 December and announced the agreement on 6 February. The aim is to establish local fully-electric bus manufacturing in the kingdom.
