Australian Mines to acquire Brazilian rare earth, lithium projects
Australian Mines Limited (AUZ) said Wednesday it has acquired two rare earth and lithium exploration projects in Brazil, bolstering its battery metals portfolio.
The first project, Jequie Rare Earth, comprises 45 mineral claims across 82,568 hectares of land in Bahia, northeast Brazil. While the project has no current or historical mineral resources, AUZ plans to target rare earth minerals and niobium at the property.
