Aston Martin, Britishvolt to collaborate on high-performance batteries
Aston Martin and Britishvolt plan to jointly develop high-performance battery technology to suit the future electrification needs of the British luxury carmaker, Kallanish reports.
The companies announced on Monday a collaboration that would be complementary to Aston Martin’s technology agreement with Mercedes-Benz. The idea is for a joint R&D team to design, develop and industrialise packs, including bespoke models and battery management systems.
