COPPER: Anglo American secures renewable energy supply for Quellaveco

UK-headquartered miner Anglo American says it has signed a long-term contract with energy supplier ENGIE Energía Peru for the supply of renewable energy to its Quellaveco copper project, currently under construction. Quellaveco will become the first large mining project to start the transformation of its energy matrix, Anglo American says.
