COPPER: Anglo American increases copper production guidance
UK-headquartered miner Anglo American expects its copper production to grow over the next two years. The growth volumes will result from the beginning of operations at the Peruvian Quellaveco project in 2022.
The miner’s output could rise by almost 30,000 tonnes on-year in 2021 to 640,000-680,000 t, the company said during a recent meeting with investors monitored by Kallanish. Once mining activities start in Peru next year, Anglo American’s over…
