Albemarle drops $4.2 billion Liontown takeover bid
US lithium giant Albemarle has abandoned its AUD 6.6 billion ($4.2 billion) deal to acquire Liontown Resources, days after Australian billionaire Gina Rinehart’s Hancock Prospecting increased its Liontown stake to 19.9%.
