Air Liquide, Lotte Chemical start JV for South Korean H2
Air Liquide and Lotte Chemical are to create a new company to boost hydrogen production for the automotive industry in South Korea. The French firm will own a majority share of 60%, Kallanish notes.
The joint venture will build two large hydrogen filling hubs in the industrial areas of Daesan and Ulsan, to feed fuel cells vehicles in Seoul, Gyeonggi province in the Northwest, Ulsan, Daegu, Busan metropolitan areas and Gyeongsang provinces in the southeast.
